Natalia and you are the duo behind the name "American Perez". How did you get to know each other?
We met each other one and a half years ago. Natalia has worked as a design assistant and I worked as a stylist. Some months later they offered Natalia the opportunity to present her own collection at the Madrid fashion week so she called me and we prepared everything. The collaboration went very well, so we decided to continue working together.

What is the idea behind the name of "American Perez?
It’s sense of humor, beauty, color and many dreams!
What is the special thing about your brand?

We are working every day at home and always together. We do everything by ourselves although we aren’t rich.

So far the label is very young, but you've already had a lot of success with it. What do you think about that?

We are pleased, but we try to continue working harder, because we never want to lose our enthusiasm .
If there’s a designer, who inspires you the most— who would it be?
Miuccia Prada for Miu Miu.
Barcelona is a beautiful city with incredibly well dressed people. What sort of influence does Barcelona have on you and your fashion?
We don’t even think about that. But perhaps it’s the short dresses.
Where do you see yourself in the future? Are there any plans? 
We do not know yet. We hope to continue working together and see our collections in various shops.
Can you maybe tell us what will be the trend of this year’s summer?
Naturalness and femininity are celebrating their comeback.
